We are a friendly club with members from the Donheads, Shaftesbury and surrounding villages.The club offers our members the opportunity to socialise while sharing their interest and enjoyment in gardening, whether they are new to it or have years of experience. PLEASE NOTE NEW OPENING TIMES FROM JANUARY 2024:
We meet in the Donhead St Mary village hall on the second Monday of each month, (unless a garden visit has been arranged elsewhere). From January 2024, doors open a 6.15pm with time to chat and have refreshments (for a donation) before the meeting begins at 6.45pm. The talks and demonstrations are generally headed by a guest speaker and cover a wide range of garden related topics. Plants are available to buy at some meetings. We also arrange private visits to gardens of interest, and our club membership entitles us to discounts at some local Garden Centres. Non-members are always welcome to our meetings for a guest fee of £5.00.
